                                         “1931”  My epilogue for  "Esperanza Rising" Esperanza rising was an amazing book it was very suspenseful and fun to read. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat. “Bang!” Esperanza woke up to the loud bang; startled by the noise she got out of bed. Esperanza heard cheering but not in a good way through the door. The people who were cheering were saying “Strike! Strike!" Suddenly she heard indistinct voices calling “Esperanza, Esperanza.” She woke up startled from her dream “Esperanza it is your birthday.” Mama said.  I believe cellphones are completely unnecessary for kids. Cellphones are incredibly special pieces of technology. They have allowed long-distance communication, finding the fastest ways to places, and entertainment. Phones have so much knowledge on them that they can help us improve in daily life. Phones have found ways to help us learn so much. Without Cell phones, life would be much less interesting, and it would be much harder to find the information we need. Although phones are amazing pieces of technology, most people believe they are overused by children and can become addictive. Cellphones have become a big part of life, but they can be a distraction. Some people think that kids should be allowed to have cell phones in school, but many others disagree. Children who are in middle school should not be able to carry cellphones to school because they can be disruptive and distracting.
